Cashmere, Culture & Covent Garden

london fashion week

Heaving with enthusiastic shoppers and excited tourists, last night Covent Garden was bustling with the sounds of wines glasses chinking, hums of music and the talk of fashion. The atmosphere was alive with a British culture typical of a late, lazy summertime evening, (despite it being September).

Weekday or not, the market place in Covent Garden is always a popular attraction for a late afternoon to evening catch-up with friends. The fact that it was the annual event for Fashion’s Night Out simply made things even more enchanting.

West end

Our Covent Garden shop recently had its first anniversary and so we thought it would be great to combine the event and celebrate an evening of shopping here. To further mark this we invited customers to come and show off their favoured Brora ensemble to be in with a chance of winning £150 worth of Brora gift vouchers.

All the ladies that entered looked wonderful, yet we felt Ruby, Sally and Manjit were more than deserving of our top three places. Having said that, Manjit has to be the lucky winner for her elegant top-to-toe Brora look.

Victoria Stapleton

Guests were welcomed by Victoria with champagne and sweet nibbles, where they also received a personal shopping experience as they tried on and bought pieces from our new collection.

Why buy one dress when you can have two?

This young lady happened to be passing by when her eye caught this Woodland Shirt Dress from the Scottish Highlands story. Having seen it on our sales advisor she immediately tried it on and loved the piece even more so on her. We quite like the idea of the dress being warn with plimsolls; great for the current sunny climate.

Overall the event was a lovely opportunity to meet so many of the Brora fans and get to know their thoughts on the new pieces; Victoria particularly valued the one-to-one experience, so thanks again for coming!

    Dear Brora -Covent Garden,

Thursday evening, your 1st anniversary celebration was simply wonderful. Very special was the fact that Victoria Stapleton was there in person and helped to choose items from the new collection.

The new autumn collection looks great … hoping to attend more such similar events in the future…

    Love,
    Ruby
