We know what you’re thinking and the answer is yes! It does taste as good as it looks…actually better!

It should come as no surprise to you that this fabulous visual marvel was the creation of our talented design team for the birthdays of fellow designers Alex and Gillian. The rainbow cake was humongous, so much so that it was shared over head office.

The girls took pictures of the process throughout and here the cake mix looked more like a child’s paint tin than that of a Victoria sponge cake fusion.

Most of us weren’t sure whether we were supposed to eat it or tweet pictures of it, treating the cake like art for the masses. Somehow it seemed so wrong just to shovel down such skill on a plate…but of course we did.

Brora TV have put together a short behind the scenes video of the Nostalgia and Retro photo shoot that took place at two different locations in one day; Camber Sands in East Sussex and Dungeness in Kent.

Modelling our Nostalgia collection is Chantelle Pidgley, our sales advisor at the Sloane Square flagship store in central London.

Victoria took her out of the shop and in front of husband Johnnie’s lens, where she fashioned the new Nostalgia summer pieces like a true professional. Despite this being one of Chantelle’s first modelling assignments she was able to brave the wuthering winds and look beautiful at the same time. If these shots are anything to go by we’re positive Chantelle will have a great modelling career ahead of her.
