Brora BBQ
Summer time, and the living is easy,
and at Brora we have been hard at work creating our gorgeous Autumn/Winter collection. We launched it in advance to our retail team from across the UK with a barbeque and fashion show at our head office recently.
The warehouse boys cooked up a storm although there had been a moment earlier in the morning when they had to go out and forage, not for sausages which we had plenty of, but for the barbeques to cook on when a carefully organised plan went awry! They were brilliant though, and what great chefs.
By lunch time things were running smoothly and Brora staff had a bit of a party.

Then back to work for the afternoon, though some people had to sleep it off! Baby Harriet is our resident Sleeping Beauty…. well, someone has to do it!
And if you’ve got summer barbeque fatigue and have seen too many sausages and burgers, try butterflied lamb. It’s easy to get hold of, just look out for boned leg or shoulder or ask the butcher. Marinade the flattened lamb in lemon, garlic and thyme, salt and pepper and leave for an hour in the fridge. Stoke up the fire and barbeque for 20 minutes each side, serve with a salad and a glass of rose wine. Delicious, and perfect cold for a picnic the next day too.
Relax and enjoy a Brora summer.
